Oh man, what to say about women’s retreat. it was fab, and i need to take hands off the wheel sometimes. I was so glad that we had an intimate 16 girls there; small enough to all bond but big enough to get a taste of double A women’s ministry. I think all being in the small house was also a plus, since we had to be around each other. extra bondage! ( not in the slavery-esque way…)

Thank you Kacy, Queena, and Lorraine for being fountains of wisdom & blessing to us. Even talking one-on-one with queens was great, it’s always nice to have those table talks in the kitchen and catch up on life. Sharing with a sister is a true blessing, and i’m glad God gave us that opportunity.

having a thankful heart is, definitely difficult to cultivate. it’s hard to make that a habit. our mouths are just, prone to complaints and bitterness. JESUS!! please, help me, because i easily complain and easily judge… may the core of my heart be thankfulness & joy, and an unrestrained love for You. i just want my first reaction to be “praise God” to everything.

small groups was my favorite part. so much honesty, so much that i didn’t know about the other girls. it was like, opening up a treasure box and finding out all these wonderful things about each girl.

Jesus, thank You because You are good, and the Father is good. Everything good that happened at women’s retreat was because You were the MASTER planner. Develop each one of us, grow in us hearts that love & obey You. Mold us into godly women.
