For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things.

i need compassion.

and am a needy person. which is why God and my relationship works so well. I always need Him and He never stops giving.

is it the same, when you have a feeling people are mad at you, and when they really are mad at you? These types of things sit and linger like muck… and i always want to hurry and deal with it, but it doesn’t always seem to work out..

i also need FREEDOM from the dungeon of school. and projects.

PLEASE ! free me ABBA

ugh. i just need a friend.

is that too much to ask?

I went w/ CherCher this morning to church, and it turned out to be a wild ride with the Holy Spirit…

The service today was unusual, in that Pastor Mike didn’t speak. Instead a couple, Don and Sophie, shared stories about what God did in the several countries they traveled to. Phillipines, Lithuania.. They showed videos of people being so overcome by the Spirit, they were just swaggering under His presence :D

So we went into a time of ministering, and God’s presence totally came into the sanctuary. Don was calling out people, praying for them. Calling out healing, so . with such faith! I watched him as he ministered, and it really looked like Jesus was just standing alongside him ministering. He was an older man, maybe late 70’s, so kind . so gentle-spirited, and just pure in the way he knew the Lord.

As he was calling people up, man my spirit was calling out to the Holy spirit, “PICK ME! CHOOSE ME! GIVE ME A WORD LORD!!” I know God speaks to individuals, but I wanted what Don had experienced. whatever God had given him, I wanted imparted to me. I was crying in my spirit, a MANTLE God! a mantle! I won’t leave this place until you impart to me!!

The service was going longer and I was worried that Cher might have to go back. It was 1:26, and I asked,

“God should i leave?”

“10 minutes, wait 10 minutes”

okay. so i waited. looked again . 1:31, ok  five more minutes…

then Don said, “You two precious ladies, can I pray for you? Yes, you girls!” BAM BABY! MY TURN TO RECIEVE!!

WHOA, God’s presence was strong over him! He told us to close our eyes and recieve, man, I could feel God’s presence coming as he walked over. He laid his hands on us, and dude, I cringed under the Spirit. It always happens like that. He said to Cheryl, ” You’re a thinker!” and he said to me, ” You’re a shouter!” I laughed!! Yes Lord, me ! He began to speak over us, discernment for Cheryl, and about ministering on our campus. how it was important to co-labor, and partner. Man, God.

man, God IS getting ready. to do something at Cal Poly, in my spirit I cry out for God to just COME. just come Lord. get us ready Lord. more than just unity, more than fuzzy feelilngs. more God, more.

isn’t it good?

“And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14

I thank you God for this most amazing day,
for the leaping greenly spirits of trees,
and for the blue dream of sky
and for everything which is natural,
which is infinite,
which is yes.

This week, I have noticed strangers.

Yesterday, the “not-up-to-code” faucet outside was broken. Su lightly bumped it with our garbage can and it popped off. The water was pouring out like a fountain and it ran down the whole street. ( We live at the very top end of the street). While waiting for the plumber, the city, OR the water bill people to come and shut off the water, tons of neighbors came by, literally like, … 6-7 neighbors came and told us water was coming out of our spout. It was so nice that our neighbors were coming over to tell us. Either that or they thought we were wasting tons of water on purpose. It was the second to last neighbor (a dad i think, i spotted 2 carseats in his minivan) who helped us turn off the water. He was so nice, he pulled off the metal top on the sidewalk and stuck his hand down in the overflowed muck and turned it off. He was went & looked at the spout and told us it was “not-to-code.” At which point Su, Lani, and I were all very happy because it was another thing to STICK IT to Ginny, our landlady! just kidding, sorry Ginny.

I rode the bus today too and realized I will miss the bus because you see so many interesting people. Isn’t it WEIRD? the bus?  It’s like, a bunch of random people getting a ride from someone. it’s also really weird when the bus is completely quiet. like it was today. I just thought, ” this is so weird…” You just see tons of different people. AND there are people, whom i’ve named “bus people” who all know each other. They take transit all the time, and recognize each other around town. There’s one lady i think who lives down my street, and she’s so cute. She’s a larger older lady who pushes around this little metal/ meshed cart, but she’s like out of a movie or SOMETHING. She has this new york/ chicago ( can’t pin it exactly) accent and makes lots of small talk.

” hey gary! where ya goin’? Food fa Less?

ya know, you should take tha three back. ya, take the three. ‘cause the one don’t run at that time anymore, ya know?”

haha! so cute. and also in my class today, after we were done sketching, i was all packed up and going to put my drawing board away when the guy sitting next to me said, ” I got it.” Love it when things like that happen.

gotta love strangers in SLO :)
